Man rescued from Holloway flat fire
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus rescued a man after a flat fire in Holloway yesterday.
Two fire engines and ten firefighters from Islington and Hornsey attended the blaze which damaged the bathroom of a flat on the first floor of the three story building on Roth Walk.
The man was treated for smoke inhalation by the London Ambulance Service.
The Brigade was called at 1112 and the fire was under control at 1153.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
