An elite athlete who took part in the London Marathon this weekend went missing hours after crossing the finish line.
Distance runner Mami Konneh Lahun, 24, from Sierra Leone, arrived in the UK on April 7 for the race.
She finished in 20th place and was due to fly home later today but did not return to her temporary accommodation in Greenwich after completing the 26.2 mile course yesterday.
Police say she has no known links to the UK and is not in possession of a mobile phone.

Ms Konneh Lahun is reportedly Sierra Leone’s fastest-ever female 5,000m and 10,000m runner. Last year, she won the Sierra Leone and Liberia marathons.
