The upgrade of Cyprus` economy by two rating firms shows that Cyprus is on the path of prosperity and reconstruction, however this reconstruction has yet to come, President Nicos Anastasiades said here tonight.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the Dean Premises of Cyprus University of Technology, the President said that what is most important in order to overcome current difficulties, is to show unity and collectivity, despite any differences that may exist.

Replying to calls from the Dean authorities for the government to financially support the University so that it can carry on with its planning, the President said that the state will look into getting assistance from European programs and from any other savings in order to fulfill the institution`s visions.
