Police have launched an investigation after a man from Paralimni reported that €60,000 in cash was stolen from a safe in his house.
The complainant said his house was broken into sometime between April 13 and 23 while he was away on holiday. After inspecting the crime scene, police said the perpetrators gained entry to the house through a backdoor window that was closed but not locked.
