Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Holloway.

Officers were called at approx 1630hrs on Wednesday, 9 April to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a motorcycle in Holloway Road, near the junction with Camden Road, N7.

The pedestrian, a man aged 56, was taken to an east London hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

The collision occurred as the man was the road at a designated crossing point; the motorcycle was travelling towards Archway when the collision took place.

The motorcyclist was not injured.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Alperton investigate and appeal for anyone who witnessed the collision, or the events leading up to the collision, to contact the witness appeal line at 0208 991 9555.
