Police were forced to close a road for nearly five hours and arrest two men on suspicion of causing GBH after an early-morning fight broke out in the street.

Officers were called to Willoughby Lane, Tottenham, at 8.25am last Thursday to reports of up to four men involved in a brawl.

After arresting two men and sending a third to hospital, police set up a crime scene and sealed off a section of Willoughby Road between Brantwood Road and Willoughby Park Road until 1.30pm that day.

A Haringey police spokesman said enquiries continue. The injured man is not understood to have suffered life-threatening injuries.
