President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades will attend Thursday’s EU extraordinary summit in Brussels, on the situation in Ukraine.
The President will depart late afternoon for Dublin, where he will participate in the Summit of the European People’s Party (EPP), during which the candidate of the EPP for the Presidency of the European Commission will be elected.
During the proceedings of the Summit President will make an intervention.
On the sidelines of the Summit, the President will meet Friday with German Chancellor Angela Merkel to discuss the situation in Ukraine, the Cyprus political issue and the economic situation.
The President is accompanied by the Government Spokesman Christos Stylianides and the Deputy Minister to the President Constantinos Petrides.
