Mysterious Girl singer Peter Andre surprised visitors at a restaurant in Mid Devon at the weekend.
The popstar was spotted having lunch at Tarr Farm Inn, in Dulverton, on Sunday with his fiancée Emily MacDonagh was joined by six members of her family.
The businessman and television personality has featured in many ‘fly on the wall ‘documentaries, which have been made following his life from his marriage to Katie Price. His latest series, shown on ITV2, is Peter Andre: My Life.
His most recent work was the release of ‘Kid’ – a song from the movie Peabody and Sherman.
Peter, 40, and Emily, 24, have been together since 2012. Their first daughter together, Amelia, was born in January at Musgrove Hospital in Taunton. Emily, who is a medical student, is from the town and studied at Richard Huish College. It’s thought they chose the hospital because her surgeon father Dr Ruaraidh McDonagh works in the area.
Peter, Emily and family all arrived at Tarr Farm, situated above Tarr Steps, seven miles from Dulverton in the Exmoor National Park, in walking clothes on Sunday.
Hilary Lester, director at the restaurant, said: “Peter and family were all very pleasant, we had a lot of customers that afternoon, the sun was shining and Peter was extremely charming a perfect gentleman.”
She also told the Gazette that family ate in the Riverside room overlooking Tarr steps and they were very busy.
“Peter tucked into the venison and duck burger which came with chips and salad and a caramelised pear and blue cheese glaze, the rest of the members had roast pork with all the trimmings,” she added.
The party decided not to have pudding and it was drinks of sparkling water all round.
They spent a leisurely few hours at Tarr Inn, and the chef Kate Butcher – an Andre fan – approach Peter after his meal for an autograph, which he graciously and warmly gave.
Kate told the Gazette he had ‘beautiful eyes‘.
Baby Amelia, who is now nearly two months old, arrived in a baby carrier, then was passed around family members at the table during the meal.
The presenter also has two older children with his ex-wife Katie Price – Junior and Princess.
Peter and Emily met in 2010 when Peter Andre performed in Plymouth. Two days before his gig at Plymouth Pavilions Andre, 40, needed emergency surgery for kidney stones.
Emily’s father, Dr MacDonagh performed the surgery Peter was so grateful he asked if there was anything he could do for him – and he asked for concert tickets for his wife, and daughter Emily.
Emily and Peter met after the gig, he became a family friend and eventually they became a couple.
Other celebrities recently spotted in the area include Rowan Atkinson in South Molton and Dame Helen Mirren was reportedly seen in Honiton last month
