New Salamis 3 Apoel 6
Apoel kept on track for the Championship with a win over New Salamis but they had it hard and were one nil down within fifteen minutes when the reds took the lead with a goal from Dougie Morton. Apoel equalised from an own goal. Murat made it 2-1 for Apoel just before half time.
Just after the break New Salamis equalised with Josh Ekim then Apoel just zoomed and increased their lead to 6-2 with their goals coming from Tam, Murat, Matt Gursel and Richard Worrall.
Towards the end Kyri Portou added a third for New Salamis to end the game 6-3 to Apoel.
Cetinkaya Cinar 1 Komi Kebir 2
One of the shock results of the day, as inform Cetinkaya Cinar were surprised by a very spirited display by Komi Kebir.
15 minutes into the game a Tarik Kucuk break on the left resulted in a two pass movement and a goal for Cinar and the first of the season for Adem Esen, 1-0. The lead lasted 10 minutes as Cinar failed to clear the ball properly, with the ball falling to the Komi Player Gulio Falzone just outside the 6 yard box, who powered the ball into the net for 1-1..
2 minutes into the second half, Cinar were caught light at the back as Komi broke to neatly score which was to be the winner with Gulio Falzone again chipping the ball over the oncoming Cinar keeeper. Despite Cinar’s efforts to score, The game ended with bookings and a sending off for Cinar’s Selcuk Ulug, but with a well deserved first win of the season for Komi with relegated Komi looking good for next season.
Omonia 2 Aradippou 1
The relegation battle in the first division is really hotting up and with Omonia and Aradippou really struggling for points and both needing to win. This game had the biggest crowd so far this season in the KOPA League with the fans basking in the sun.
Marcel the Aradippou player manager scored the first goal in the 15th minute, Alexandros equalised for Omonia with a penalty then at 1-1 Aradippou had the chance to regain their lead when they were awarded a penalty but failed to score.
Omonia took the lead in the 75th minute with a 20 yard drive from Dean Florence. It really was an exciting game with both teams nervous and both clubs missing several good chances. This win takes Omonia to 7th place equal on points with Cetinkaya Cinar and one point above Aradippou.
Olympia 2 Tripimeni 2
Olympia pulled off one of the shocks of the day by drawing 2-2 with the League leaders Tripimeni 2-2 this result will give Olympia confidence in their relegation fight.
Tripimeni were coasting at 2-0 but complacency sank in and before you know it in the last 15 minutes Olympia really went for it and saved the game when Alex Violaris struck twice one with a header from a cross and the other from a free kick from just inside the box this result now gives a twist to the title chase with Tripimeni six points ahead of second placed Apoel who have two games in hand.

Maronites 2 Achna 3
What a cup game this was, you always know with the Maronites you will get an exciting game, who started full steam hitting the bar twice then Achna hit the post and this was just for starters.
Justin Zacharia started the game rolling with a first goal for Achna then Tom Boxer equalised for the Maronites. James Chrysanthou made it 2-1 Achna, Maronites got back into the game and equalised with a great goal from Marcus Archer who chipped the ball over the keeper from the edge of the box .
With ten minutes to go James Chrysanthou blasted the ball into the back of the net to give Achna a 3-2 win and a path into the quarter finals of the KOPA challenge Cup and a game versus Tripimeni.
