A man has been charged in connection with a fatal collision between a car and a 78-year-old pedestrian,, in Holloway on 1 May 2013.

Riad Ladjassa’s car collided with Cypriot pensioner Androula Michael, 78 in Holloway on May 1, 2013.

The 40-year-old from Bounds Green has now been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and was further charged with causing death while driving an uninsured car after the incident in Essex Road, which led to the death of 78-year-old Androula Michael.

He has now been bailed to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on April 1
