The daughter of a man missing from his Orounda home since December 5 has made an urgent plea for any information on her father’s whereabouts.
UK-resident Mary Chrysanthou last spoke to her father Gregoris, 79, on the phone on December 3, two days before he was declared missing by the police.
The man lived alone in his Orounda home and, according to Mary, was in good health and able to drive.
“He is well-known in the community. Everyone describes him as a good, quiet man,” she said.
Chrysanthou has never gone missing before and Mary has become more concerned as extensive police searches with search dogs and the assistance of the National Guard in the area have so far failed to bring any result.
The police investigations have also encompassed searches at Chrysanthou’s home and car.
If anyone has seen Chrysanthou or has any information on where he may be, they should contact Peristerona Police, a representative of which yesterday confirmed that the search was ongoing, on 22607160, or their nearest police station as soon as possible.
