Police are appealing for help from the public as they continue to search for a missing woman.

Kathleen Morris, 61, of Waltham Abbey has not been seen since she left her home at lunchtime on Monday.

Ms Morris from Margaret Close was last seen wearing black clothing. She is described as white, approximately 5ft 6ins tall, is of medium build and has dark hair.

Family members are increasingly concerned for her welfare as they are unsure of her state of mind, and whether or not she “realises that her family care for her”.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kathleen Morris is urged to contact Essex Police on 999.
