EasyJet will operate between Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Larnaka International in Cyprus from November 2.

Vantage Airport Group, the owner and manager of both the gateways made the announcement at World Routes today.

EasyJet will operate the route twice weekly with an A320 aircraft.

“Northern England travellers will have the opportunity to experience the largest island in the Mediterranean and enjoy the more than 300 days of sunshine that Cyprus offers every year,” said Lee Lipton, director of air service marketing at Vantage Airport Group.

“This new connection between our airline and airport partners is a market opportunity that we helped identify and translate into flights that benefit our partners and the communities—and passengers—they serve.”

“Another new destination from Liverpool John Lennon Airport is an exciting addition for our local customers,” said Matthew Thomas, president and CEO, Vantage Airports UK. “Working with an airport within the Vantage network on this flight is unique and will ensure that our passengers remember their holiday—and their experience at our airports—for all the right reasons.”
