CYTA boss released without charge

Cyta chairman Stathis Kittis was released from police custody on Sunday morning without being charged.
A police spokesman told the Cyprus News Agency that Kittis, who was being held in connection with the Dromolaxia land scam case, was discharged from the cardiology ward of Nicosia Hospital at 10.50 in the morning.
He was taken to Lakatamia police station and soon after released from police custody.
Kittis had been in police custody since September 25. On September 30 he was taken to hospital complaining of feeling unwell. The remand was renewed for three days on October 3 and Kittis remained in hospital.
