The Police are evaluating all the information they have on the case of a British boy who disappeared in 1991 in Greece and will determine their course of action, Justice and Public Order Minister Ionas Nicolaou said on Monday.
The Police have already started collecting information, he told reporters, adding that they will seek more information from the Greek police and will determine their next steps in the forthcoming days.
Ben Needham disappeared on 24 July 1991 at the age of 21 months while on holidays with his grandparents at the Greek island of Kos.
The Cypriot authorities started investigating the case after they were asked to do so by Interpol Greece.
As reported, the file of Ben Needham’s case has been reopened because of new evidence that shows a young man who resembles Ben to be in a Roma-populated area of Limassol, Cyprus.
