British Cypriot and Greek journalists honour the UK High Commissioner

The High Commissioner Alexandros Zenon

In a pleasant atmosphere at the Lemonia Restaurant in Primrose Hill in London. A group of Cypriot and Greek journalists gathered to honour the Cypriot High Commissioner in the UK Alexandros Zenon who will be retiring from his post in the UK to take up a new position in Cyprus as the Permanent secretary of the Ministry of Foreign affairs.

The veteran journalist Kyriacos Tsioupras gave the High Commissioner a glass Plaque on behalf of all the journalists present and thanked him for his services and support to our community . The journalists Michael Ellinas and Doros Partasides also spoke showing their appreciation.

Alexandros Zenon then spoke about his time in London and thanked the community for their support and cooperation with a special mention to the Greek Orthodox Church , National Federation and Greek Cypriot Brotherhood.

The Journalists gave their best wishes to the High Comissioner and his wife Aliki   who will be returning to Cyprus this week.
