UK Cypriots and Conservative party reaffirm close links

Representatives of the ‘Conservatives for Cyprus’ group, consisting of members of the Greek Cypriot community in London, were received by the UK’s ruling party vice-chairman Alok Sharma on Wednesday afternoon.

“The purpose of the meeting was to build on the already strong links between the Conservative party and the Greek Cypriot community in the UK,” Sharma told CNA.

“There is already a close connection with MPs representing North London and we want this connection to be strengthened even further.
