A teenager was stabbed in the back at a petrol station Saturday night.

Detectives were called to the BP Garage, in Hampden Way, Barnet, at 11.30pm to reports of a stabbing.

They found a 17-year-old boy with multiple stab wounds to the back and he was taken to an east London hospital.

His injuries are not thought to be life threatening and next of kin have been informed.

The petrol station was taped off until the early hours of the morning.

There have been no arrests and enquiries are ongoing. Witnesses should call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
