Dinos Michaelides to be extradited to Greece

The Supreme Court rejected an appeal filed by the lawyers of former Minister of the Interior Dinos Michaelides against the ruling of the Limassol District Court for the extradition of Michaelides to Greece, on a European arrest warrant, to stand trial in connection with a money laundering case involving former Greek Minister of Defence Akis Tsohatzopoulos.

The court dismissed all the reasons cited in the appeal and ratified the lower court ruling, ordering that the provisions of the law be observed within ten days.

Dinos Michalides will remain in custody until then.
