Police officers trying to identify man killed at Potters Bar rail station
OFFICERS from the British Transport Police (BTP) and Hertfordshire Constabulary are trying to identify a man killed at Potters Bar rail station.
The man died on the track at just before 1.30pm yesterday afternoon (Sunday).
A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman said: “BTP and Hertfordshire Constabulary officers were called to Potters Bar rail station on Sunday, 18 August after a report that a man had been struck by a train.
“The incident was reported to BTP at 1.27pm.
“Medics from the East of England Ambulance Service also attended but the man was declared dead at the scene.
“The incident is currently being treated as non-suspicious and officers are working to establish the man’s identity.
“A file will be prepared for the coroner.”
