Olympiacos Youth F.C. raise an amazing £1096 at their football tournament for CLIC Sargent

After raising over £700 in 2012, Yiannis, the clubs organiser enjoyed it so much that he decided he wanted to do it all over again and aim to raise even more for CLIC Sargent – the UK’s leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families.

Held on Saturday 14th July, the sun was shining and everyone was in the mood for a fun kick around at Enfield Playing Fields. Families enjoyed: Penalty shoot – outs, Euro style tournaments, football skills sessions and a BBQ. Teams aged 0 to 14 came along for the day where they took part in lots of tournaments to raise money for children and young people with cancer.

Yiannis said ‘it was a resounding success! The weather favoured us and everyone had a great time’.

Nicola, Fundraising Manager says: ‘Thank you to Olympiacos Youth F.C. for deciding to hold another event on behalf of children and young people with cancer. They raised such a fantastic amount that will really help support the services that CLIC Sargent offer.’
