Detectives in Haringey are appealing for witnesses and information after teenagers at a party were robbed.
Police were called at around 04:50hrs Sunday 11 August to reports of a disturbance at an address in Perth Road, N4.
Officers attended and found eight teenagers (aged 18 and 19-years-old) had been robbed after a man holding a large knife had entered the room in the address where they were having a party and robbed them of their mobile phones, purses, wallets and other personal possessions.
Two of the teenagers suffered injuries. One, a 19-year-old man [victim1] had suffered a serious cut to his leg and facial cuts and bruises. He was taken to an east London hospital for treatment where he underwent surgery and remains in a stable condition. The second, a 18-year-old woman [victim2] suffered a minor cut to her hand. She did not require hospital treatment.
The robbery squad from Haringey Borough is investigating.
The suspect is described as a Somali male, 5′ 8″ – 5′ 10″ tall. He was wearing a black hoody with white cords around the edges and black tracksuit trousers. He was also described as having facial hair and yellow teeth and unusually large forehead.
