Three men were rescued after they were trapped in the basement of a building that was being renovated in Stadiou Street, Larnaca.
The Georgianm Greek Pontian and Romanian workers were trapped when a concrete support collpapsed.
Firemen and the EMAK rescue squad were called in and took 45 minutes to extricate the three men.
They suffered a range of injuries and were taken to hospital.
A labour accident investigation began immediately.
