Two Cypriot football teams have not paid their players salaries for several months, Sentragoal website has reported.
The sports portal quoted a survey carried out by the Association of Cypriot Football Players (PASP) which said that players with Olympiacos Nicosia and Enosis Neon Paralimniou have not been paid for six months.
It said the only team that was up to date with its payments was that of APOEL, which last week clinched the championship and has no salaries outstanding.
Next in line according to the same survey is AEL, which has one month due, followed by AEK with two salaries. The remaining teams owe three months pay or more as follows: Apollon and Anorthosis three months, Doxa three and four months, Omonia and Ethnikos Achnas four months, Alki and Nea Salamina five and Olympiacos and Enosis six.
