Boris Johnson will be joined by Spurs star Ledley King, MP David Lammy and the leader of Haringey Council Claire Kober to open an enterprise, business and volunteering centre.

The mayor of London will open the building at 639 High Road, in Tottenham, on Wednesday. He will also take a tour of the site and meet those who will benefit from its service.

Formerly the borough’s planning offices, the building was badly damaged during the riots in Tottenham in 2011. The building, which is being run by local charity The London Youth Support Trust (LYST), has been comprehensively refurbished as part of the mayor’s regeneration strategy for Tottenham
