Police are investigating after two youths suffered serious head injuries in a fight in a school yard.
Police were called after reports that around 30 youths were fighting in the school yard in Polemidhia. When they got there the incident was over.
They were called to Limassol General Hospital where two 19-year-old were being treated for head injuries. Due to the seriousness of their injuries they were transferred to Nicosia General Hospital.
Police are considering a number of possibilities, including that the fight had been prearranged in order to settle differences. It is claimed that Tuesday morning three youths went to the school and were assaulted.
