Paul Economides to fight in British Title eliminator
English Cypriot boxer Paul Economides will be fighting for the British super bantam weight title eliminator on the 19th of April against Gavin McDonnell who is unbeaten at Doncaster Dome, Doncaster, Yorkshire. The other eliminator is on the 30th March in the Echo arena in Liverpool. The 2 winners will then fight for the British title in the summer. These fights have been ordered by the British boxing board.
Paul is really busy his training camp has gone really well so far, and he is travelling the country for different sparring.
Paul seems very popular with the fans he has a great style very entertaining and a treat for anyone to watch.
Paul is from Chester and his parents from Kakopetria and Famagusta. Paul started boxing at aged 11 having the first Amateur Fight aged 12, then went on to win the Welsh ABAs, 3yrs running he went to the multi nations to represent Wales where he picked up a Bronze Medal.
At age 21 he decided to turn Professional were he made the move to a highly reputable Professional Boxing Trainer Steve Goodwin at Chester Boxers.
