Marcos warmed up for his BMW Open singles campaign with a strong victory in the doubles on Monday. Partnering Eric Butorac, the first-time duo ousted fourth seeds Frantisek Cermak and Michal Mertinak 6-3, 6-4 to reach the quarter-finals in Munich.

Marcos now turns his attention to the singles and a first-round clash with Kazakhstani qualifier Evgeny Korolev on Tuesday. Marcos will play the No. 195-ranked Korolev for the first time. The 25-year-old Korolev, who reached the Top 50 of the Emirates ATP Rankings three years ago, is contesting his first ATP World Tour main draw match of the season.

The match is scheduled for third on centre court, with play beginning at 11am CET
