A man has been killed in a shooting in north London.

Police were called to Fontaine Court, opposite The Meadway in Southgate, at about 19:20 BST.

A 34-year-old man who has not been named, was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have yet been made, and the victim’s family have been informed, police said.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police’s Trident Gang Crime Command are investigating.
