A 16-year-old boy who was stabbed on a bus in north London earlier this week has died.

He was attacked on a route 393 bus just after 15:20 BST on Tuesday at Highbury New Park, Highbury.

He was taken to hospital but died late on Wednesday. His next of kin have been told.

A boy, 15, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Tuesday and remains in police custody. A post mortem examination is to be held later.
