Food and supplies donated by Londoners are to be sent on an aid ship to Cyprus this week.

The Red Cross has been appealing for help for Cypriots left hungry after the banking crisis.

More than 300,000 Cypriots live in London and many of them are collecting aid to help those suffering.

BBC London’s Sarah Harris spoke to volunteers Marina Papadopoudou and Doria Charalambous, Anastasia Tjirkalli  and Leba Koursoumba of The Red Cross
