April heatwave with temperatures in the 30’s in Cyprus

An April heatwave has sent thousands to the beaches early this year, with temperatures expected to remain 8 degrees higher than normal right up to Orthodox Easter Sunday.

Today’s recorded temperature was 34 today with a slight drop expected for the remainder of the week.
