AEL defeated Omonia 1-0 in Limassol while Apollon held AEK to a 1-1 draw away to seal a place in an all-Limassol Cyprus Coca-Cola Cup final – the first time two teams from the coastal city will battle for the cup since 1987.
Holders Omonia travelled to Limassol with a 0-0 draw at home, but were unable to clinch a place in a  third successive final on Wednesday night, going down 1-0 to last season’s finalists AEL.
