Omonia enjoyed an emphatic 6-0 win against Nea Salamina today on a day when an abundance of goals were scored in the Cyprus first division. The comfortable win cements the ‘Greens’ place in the top four. Alki and Ethinicos Achnas shared a stunning 11-goal thriller on Saturday, with the home side securing a memorable victory. There were five goals in Paphos today, but this time the home side left the field humbled after they suffered a 5-0 thrashing by Olympiacos. In the other game today the home side tasted defeat as Paralimni went down 2-1 against AEL. Sunday Apollon will face Ayia Napa, Doxa will host AEK and in the big match of the day Anorthosis will face APOEL in the top of the table clash who are separated by just three points.
