Three new piers, replacing older ones, are expected to be ready by the new tourist season at the Larnaca Marina.

According to Director of the Marina Christos Petrides, two new piers will be placed near the wooden listed one, while the third, which will be shorter, will be installed in front of the Marina’s offices.

He added that the works to replace the old jetties began last summer and the 600,000-euro project is expected to be handed over to the Cyprus Tourism Organisation before the new tourist season.

With the new floating piers, which will be fire and rust proof, the Larnaca Marina will have a total capacity of 370 berths
