Finance Minister Yannis Stournaras is to brief on Tuesday afternoon President Karolos Papoulias and opposition leaders about the implications of the bailout deal for Cyprus.
The meetings come amid government concern about the reaction to the Cypriot agreement.
Stournaras is due to meet Papoulias at 2 p.m. and will then hold separate talks with SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras and Communist Party general secretary Aleka Papariga.
SYRIZA has already been highly critical of the government’s stance on the Cypriot bailout, accusing the coalition of failing to support Greek Cypriots and allowing Nicosia to be blackmailed by the Eurogroup and troika.
Given that troika representatives are due back in Athens at the beginning of next month, the government is worried that events surrounding the Cypriot case will trigger more skepticism or anger in Greece about its own loan agreement.
