President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso and President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy are expected to meet with President Nicos Anastasiades on Sunday, sources in Brussels told CNA.

The outcome of today’s consultations between the Cyprus authorities and Troika delegation will very much determine tomorrow’s meeting, the sources said.

Barroso and Rompuy have postponed their visit to Japan for the Japan-EU summit and decided to stay in Brussels so that they can be in constant contact with the Cypriot President.
