APOEL cruised to a 6-0 victory over Paphos at the GSP on Sunday, widening the difference between second placed Anorthosis to three points. The two sides– at 63 and 60 points respectively  meet in a fortnight for the final game before the playoffs. There will be no games next weekend as Cyprus hosts Switzerland.
Sunday’s game at the GSP was an easy affair for APOEL who scored three goals at either side of half time. Paphos, which will be relegated to the second division next season, fielded a number of young players, who despite their best efforts werre unable to make an impact. Constantinos Charalambides scored two goals, David Biton scorred another two, while Mario Sergio and and Miguel  Beckman one each.
