Tourist arrivals decrease by 11,2% in January

Arrivals of tourists to Cyprus in January 2012 recorded a decrease of 11,2%.

On the basis of the results of the Passengers Survey, published Friday by the Statistical Service of Cyprus, arrivals of tourists reached 42.286 in January 2013 compared to 47.610 in January 2012, recording a decrease of 11,2%.

A decrease of 4,7% was recorded in tourist arrivals from the United Kingdom (15.291 in January 2013 compared to 16.040 in January 2012).

On the other hand an increase of 1,9% was recorded in tourist arrivals from Greece (from 7.879 in January 2012 to 8.030 in January 2013).
