Voting in the United Kingdom for Cyprus` presidential elections began smoothly at 0800 local time (1000 Cyprus time) at all polling stations set up for Cypriot citizens.

A total of 13 polling stations have been set up in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds and Bristol, for 6,116 registered voters, of which 3,741 are in London.

Polling stations in the UK will close at 1600 GMT to coincide with the closing of polling stations in Cyprus at 1800 Cyprus time.
