Quarter Final
New Salamis 2 AEL Aradippou 4
It’s great for the KOPA League to see another weekend of exciting cup surprises. It shows the League is getting more competitive.
It’s the second week of cup defeats for champions New Salamis who lost to Apoel last week 4-0 and this week to AEL Aradippou 4-2.

What a shock at the end with the game destined to go into penalties AEL Aradippou popped up and scored two goals in added time with Errol and Luke Petros whose goal was brilliant he took the ball from the half way line and just went on and on till he beat the oncoming keeper New Salamis former AEL keeper Erbil.
AEL will now play the winners of the Tripimeni versus Maronites game in the Semi Final.
