Diamonds worth €20,000 and other jewellery valued at €27.700 were stolen from a vehicle Goldsmith which was parked in an open space in Yermasoyia, Limassol, Wednesday night. A 52-year-old goldsmith told police that while his car had been parked and locked on an open space between 5.20pm and 7.30pm in the evening the rear window was smashed and the items stolen.

    Why would you leave such valuable items in the back of the car? Surely he should have thought about it! And blame his indifference a little! I know thieves have no right to take other’s property but when given on a plate?
