Limassol;Drugs found in Car illegally driven by 15-year-old boy
POLICE found half a gramme of cannabis in a vehicle being illegally driven by a 15-year-old boy yesterday.
Traffic police stopped and checked the vehicle driven by the teen who was accompanied by three of his peers in Ayias Zonis Street in Limassol. Officers found that he was driving without a licence or insurance and without his mother’s consent, Limassol CID head Ioannis Sotiriades said.
Police searched the vehicle and found half a gramme of cannabis, as well as tools for breaking in and other items for which the teenage passengers gave no explanation.
All four were taken in for questioning. They were charged and later released.
