British Cypriot Christos Lazari wins major Cypriot award the Business Individual who excels internationally award. Christos who was born in Dora, Limassol arrived in Britain at 16 years old with £20 in his pocket to seek a future here in London. In the early seventies he started working in the dress business eventually owning his own dress manufacturing business Drendie Girl before entering in the property investment business. He owns forty-five acres across London through a network of property companies.
He is ranked the 107th richest person in the Sunday Times Rich List and now owns commercial and residential property in Mayfair and Baker Street, as well as two acres along Tottenham Court Road and is the .
The INBusiness Awards 2012 took place for the fifth consecutive year at the Hilton Park Hotel in Nicosia. A total of 12 awards were presented to companies, business practices, products, and people that are leading the local and international business community. Hellenic Bank, MTN, Chivas and TFI Markets sponsored the event. Chrysanthos Tsouroullis coordinated the event while the entertaining part was undertaken by the internationally renowned soprano Katerina Mina .
