Evangelou Bros to Box at London Olympia Saturday 8 December

Chris “The Flash” Evangelou’s scheduled rematch against Danny Connor for the Southern Area Light Welterweight Title has been postponed until early in 2013 due to Connor sustaining an eye injury. The Flash will instead box in an eight round contest on Saturday 8th December at London Olympia against another class opponent in preparation for the rematch. He was obviously disappointed due to the controversy surrounding the result of the last contest as this rematch was billed as “Vindication.”  The Flash is in the best condition of his life and he will be looking to produce another master class performance to follow up the tremendous show that he gave against Connor. He has been preparing with some tough sparring against the world ranked Ashley Theophane.

Also appearing on the night will be the Flash’s brother, Andreas “The Ace” Evangelou who will be boxing in his first six round bout as he develops and prepares to challenge for a domestic title in 2013. His opponent who is ranked higher than the Ace will give him the opportunity to showcase his tremendous potential and he has been preparing with some very challenging sparring against top ten ranked boxers.
