A 44-year-old Russian toruist was found dead in hotel pool in Ayia Napa at around 4.40am in the morning on Sunday.
According to police, they received information that a person had drowned in a hotel pool in the Famagusta district.
Police officers went to the hotel and found the 44-year-old man who was declared dead on arriving at Famagusta General Hospital.
The exact cause of death will be ascertained during an autopsy on Monday.
