Three men between the ages of 22 and 23 were arrested in Limassol last night after police discovered improvised bomb-making materials and sharp objects in their car.

Officers on the scene discovered 36 vials containing an unknown powder, pieces of a detonating fuse, an improvised handgun, a meat cleaver, a knife, two improvised gun barrels and a large number of metal and plastic pellets.

A search of one of the suspect’s home’s uncovered an air rifle and further pellets and capsules.

Police are investigating the case.
