Thieves have been breaking into parking meters to steal cash in Potters Bar.
A number of meters have been damaged after they were attacked with power tools or bolt cutters in order to gain access to money.
It is believed two crooks forced open a meter in the High Street at 12.15am on July 23.
Parking meters have also been broken into in Baker Street, a car park in Highview Close, The Walk and Salisbury Close.
A similar offence also occurred to a phone box also on the High Street on Friday, July 20.
Police appealed for witnesses to come forward.
