Police officers from the joint Metropolitan Police Service’s Safer Transport Command and Transport for London Workplace Violence Unit are appealing for help in identifying a man following an incident on a bus in Haringey.

The incident occurred on Wednesday 11 July at approx. 18:30hrs on a Route 29 bus travelling along Green Lanes, N4 towards Trafalgar Square.

The incident involved the suspect abusing the driver and punching the protective screen after he was challenged for attempting to board the bus using the rear doors. He alighted the bus and damaged the offside wing-mirror before making off.

The suspect is described as a young man, of Mediterranean appearance, wearing a football shirt.
