After a successful performance a Greek theatre company, travelling in a mini bus were involved in a small car accident just outside Limassol at around 2.45 am Sunday.
A passing taxi driver noticed the incident and stopped to help, but the driver of one of the cars, apparently fearing the consequences, ran away and disappeared into the darkness running.
While the taxi driver was still at the scene of the accident, the small bus carrying members of the Greek theatre, which is in Cyprus for the performances of “The Parliament will surrender MORI?” was travelling from Nicosia to Limassol , collided with two other vehicles, resulting in injury to the eight actors in the mini bus.
Among the popular actors who were wounded, including Chrissa Roba, Anna Panayiotopoulou Mirka Papaconstantinou, Yerasimos Skiadaressis, George Dalitis.
All the injured were taken to Limassol hospital where they received treatment
